Cavill Mall is a tourist shopping and dining mecca, consisting mainly of family orientated casual eateries and tourist retail consisting of surf shops, novelty and budget fashion stores. The mall also plays host to the Centro Shopping Centre, previously known as and still commonly referred to as the 'Paradise Centre', which is the largest and most successful retail centre in Surfers Paradise, with a great mix of stores.
It is the oldest and most popular street in Surfers Paradise and is mandatory to visit for Gold Coast visitors and holiday makers. Day time is relaxed and very casual and early evening is exciting with entertainment such as street buskers and musicians......even Elvis has been sighted on the odd occassion !

Due to its central location, iconic position and proximity to so many facilities, staying on Cavill is a very popular choice for Surfers Paradise Accommodation, but there are limited choices for Cavill Accommodation with Cavill Apartments really the only option available. Apartments on Cavill are really limited to the Circle on Cavill lifestyle mixed precinct, with an entrance from Cavill Avenue. Another option is the two tower Paradise Centre Apartments, which although technically are accessed from parallel Hanlan Street, really are Cavill Avenue accommodation, as they are equally accessed by and are situated looking right over Cavill Ave.
Although there are no Cavill Avenue hotels, the Courtyard Marriott also shares the Centro shopping precinct with Breakfree Paradise Centre, so is the closet Cavill Hotel. There are only a few other Cavill Ave Accommodation choices, but the above options are the most central and most modern.
Even though there are no actual Hotels on Cavill, the above options offer plenty of choices for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom quality Cavill Avenue apartments, to make sure you can stay in comfort with full facilities, right in the heart of the action of Surfers Paradise.
