Gold Coast Weather - Temperatures & Climate
Queensland's Gold Coast enjoys a sub-tropical climate that has made it world famous for it's great weather and sunshine all year round. Summer - December to February.
Average temperature 20-29°C (68-84°F). Summer weather on the Gold Coast is generally hot and sunny, often with late showers. Its the ideal time to visit for those that enjoy all summer activities like all imaginable water sports or lazing at the many and varied beaches. Nights are balmy and warm.
Autumn - March to May.
Average temperature 15-26°C (59-78°F). Autumn weather on the Gold Coast generally has warm days and nights. It s great time to visit to enjoy outdoor activities without the full summer heat. It's ideal weather for boating, fishing, a visit to a theme park or a scenic drive.
Winter - June to August.
Average temperature 11-21°C (52-70°F) Winter weather on the Gold Coast is generally cool but often is sunny and warm as well. The nights are cooler and for a short period can get quite cold. It's a great time to enjoy restaurants, bars and shopping, especially with June sales.
Spring - September to November.
Average temperature 15-26°C (59-79°F). Spring weather on the Gold Coast is generally temperate and like Autumn, offers a chance to enjoy outdoor activities without the full heat, yet is still sunny and warm. It's really a perfect time to take part in just about everything the Gold Coast has to offer
